This is the first year that Easter has been a big deal at the Call house. The first year that Bennett could really participate in the fun traditions of the Easter Bunny and Easter Egg hunting. It was fun to watch him figure the whole system out. It didn't take him long to figure out how to get treats.
Our first Easter celebration was at Nana and Pappi Call's house. That was Bennett's first Easter Egg Hunt and he got to do it with his cousins, Adalae and Tatum. Pappi has a great backyard for hiding eggs. Its like a jungle back there!
Later that week we got together again with the Call cousins and colored Easter eggs.
Bennett was introduced to the Easter Baskets too. Nothing too exciting. A Velcro catch set, Francesco car, an elephant, a giraffe, goldfish crackers and a Capri sun (his favorite snacks), a couple match box cars, and a ball that lights up. Oh, and of course a little bit of candy. I didn't break the bank but for Bennett, it was perfect!
He checked it all out and even threw in a little dance of excitement for his Easter prizes. ha ha!
Thanks to Great Grandma Andes, my kids looked extra cute on Easter Sunday. I couldn't help myself from not taking a load of pictures. Thanks Grandma for the cute outfits!
